Head of Product Management

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • 7+  years of experience as a Product Manager in more than one company or product.
  • Experience in building B2B products from scratch, planning, executing and launching them.
  • Passionate about UI and about giving users an amazing user experience.
  • Planned and performed user research, usability tests, user interviews and questionnaires. Knows how to speak to users and how to analyze qualitative data.
  • Experience in collecting and analyzing quantitative data, and generating action items from it.
  • Worked in an early stage B2B startup.
  • People person.
  • Fluent English speaker.

Head of Customer Success

General description:

We believe that a source of competitive advantage for us at Acumen is putting the customer at the center of everything we do, from the products and features we build to how we position ourselves in the market.  

This role is a critical part of that strategy. It offers a unique opportunity to own the customer experience end-to-end – from pre-sales through POC definition and implementation, conversion, onboarding, and customer retention and advocacy. 

You will be the voice of the customer, sharing critical insights and feedback to inform our product roadmap and go-to-market. And you’ll be “in the trenches” with our customers – guiding them to value in using the software to transform their own software development practices.  

This role requires a leader with a demonstrated capacity to navigate ambiguity, influence stakeholders, and build and scale processes –  and the ability to become an authority on all terms and practices of software development (Agile methodologies, coding practices, common mistakes, development systems, etc.). 

Responsibilities:

  • Own the end-to-end customer lifecycle, from conversion to a loyal paying customer, including:
  1. Onboarding and walk through the user journey, while understanding the specific user needs
  2. Engagement - coach and guide customers to use the product and see its value, analyze customer data to improve customer experience.
  3. Influence and drive customers to convert from users to paying customers
  4. Minimize customer churn.

  1. Onboarding processes.
  2. Define and create tutorials and other communication infrastructure (with marketing)

Backend Developer

Job Description

We are looking for an A player to join our founding team. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. We are looking for someone who enjoys writing backend code, playing with data, and isn’t scared of some DevOps work.

Responsibilities

  • Developing the backend and data side of our SaaS product.
  • Maintain quality and ensure our data performance is up to snuff.
  • Working with various data technologies including SQL and graph databases.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features.
  • Seeing through a project from conception to a finished product.
  • Designing and developing APIs to be consumed by us and 3rd parties.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years experience in developing backend services and full stack applications
  • Hands-on experience using NodeJS
  • Experience in database schema design and services architecture
  • Experience with developing on top of AWS/Azure/GCP clouds, databases (e.g. PostgreSQL), Docker containers, Lambda functions, etc.
  • Experience in writing tests to ensure high code quality and working in CI/CD environments
  • Typescript experience - advantage
  • Python experience - advantage
